Another selection from my Grandma's Composition book ....
THE BUNNY RABBITS
When the moon is shining bright,
Who is playing in the night,
Who goes hopping or the snow
Back and forth and to and fro?
Who has fur so warm and soft,
Ears so long that trembles oft,
Who the slightest sound can hear,
So that none come very near?
Who is it can run so fast,
Who likes cabbage leaves to eat,
Who has eyes so large and bright,
And a breast of snowy white?
Don't you know then look some night,
From your window when tis light,
And you'll see them at their play,
Little bunny rabbits gray!
